Susannah Breslin (of Pink Slipped on Forbes) writes about making radical change, and just jumping out there to start over.
God, the idea is terrifying. And I’m not even talking about shucking my job, 90% of my stuff, and my apartment and becoming a freelance writer in Chicago. (mind you, to do that, I’d have to 1- be able to write, 2- have money, 3- convince Jesse to come along and 4- outrun my landlord)
But I can still start new. I can unclutter my life. I can try and find something that I LOVE to do, work-wise. I can take a page out of fellow “hustlers for life” club member, Jessica Brookman’s book, and take a radical interest in myself.
And dammit, this time, no excuses. Please.
